Doing our part for the community
As part of Junior Adventures Group (JAG), we’re able to support the people and causes close to the hearts of local communities. heart. Have a read below on some of the community initiatives we’re proud to be involved in.
The Special Children’s Christmas Parties are the biggest events of their kind in Australia, bringing joy to children with additional needs and their families.
We are extremely proud of our long-standing partnership – helping to put smiles on thousands of children’s faces.
At our heart are the values of having fun with friends and enjoying physical exercise, so we couldn’t think of a better match than Netball ACT. Local netball players teach the children about the importance of teamwork and being active.
Together with Netball ACT we promote and support the local after-school netball competitions, to encourage children to get involved and have some fun.
In a long-lasting and exclusive partnership, we work closely with Flourish to help school leaders flourish, not just cope.
With our support, Flourish provide access to customised coping strategies for principals and other school leaders, inspiring social connection and increasing emotional wellbeing.
We proudly partner with Give Write, a Western Australian-based charity created to recycle, repackage and regift stationary to children in need who attend school with nothing.
Give Write aligns with our mission to build brighter futures together, promoting sustainability, assisting teaching and giving all children access to basic school supplies.
In an exclusive partnership, Moovosity inspires all children to enjoy a life of physical activity by revolutionising the way they learn to move.
Accessing Moovosity’s extensive library of resources, our educators provide lessons that positively impact health, wellbeing and academic performance.
It’s all about giving children the confidence and competence to live healthy, happy lives through physical activity.
Each year JAG supports Dance Fest, an annual non-competitive celebration of dance run by ACT-based not-for-profit Ausdance.
Promoting teamwork and celebrating differences, the festival provides students a safe, supportive environment to be creative, self-express and participate in a rich artistic process.
Ausdance has allowed us to also offer Dance in schools during an after-school care session, creating jobs for local artists and exposing children to the world of dance and its myriad mental and physical benefits.
